Oral care comprises of few basic activities that we carry out on daily basis!
Simple things as brushing and flossing effectively can increase your oral health tremendously.

Brushing:

Choosing the right kind of toothbrush and toothpaste is vital for your oral care, usually a soft-headed toothbrush is recommended to remove plaque and to keep tooth clean!

It is also advisable to use a small-headed toothbrush as it can reach all parts of mouth easily making cleaning easy and more effective!

It is recommended to brush twice daily for about 2 minutes, we tend to brush way less amount of time usually.

Choosing right toothpaste is equally important for healthy teeth, please consult your dental professional to advise you the right toothpaste for you.

Brushing tips:

  • Use a 45 degree angle to brush your teeth

  • Brush top and bottom teeth both inside and out

  • Use appropriate mouthwashes to compliment brushing

  • Rinse your mouth every time you eat food

  • Brush twice daily without fail

Although we can brush outside and inside surfaces of the teeth, we cannot brush the surface between the teeth effectively, it can only be cleaned by flossing.

There are various flossing options are available now including flossing tape, interdental brushes and toothpick floss etc. chose the best suited option and floss every night without fail. Remember flossing is the only way you can clean the surface between the teeth.

Fluoride is a type of mineral naturally present in all kind of waters, it is know that fluoride helps reducing cavities and tooth decay! Fluoride gets absorbed in to the enamel and helps the enamel by replenishing the lost calcium and phosphorous.
